The data we see in XD0* and in FD0*/ VD0* are pretty much the same.  It is just that XD0* gives the option to the user to manage the data holistically. 

 

Now my question is :

1. Which tcode should be used ,means in which scenario or condition to create the customer master data?
2. If i create customer master data with VD01, instead of XD01 / FD01 ,how it will affect the master data
3. what is the advantage or the disadvantage of using any of the tcode randomly for creating the customer master data.

1.  Usually, the finance dept. uses FD0* and the sales dept. folks use VD0*

2.  Whether you create data in VD01/ FD01 / XD01, it will NOT have any negative impact in customer master data.  Because, VD01 and FD01 data are mutually exclusive and XD01 data are collectively exhaustive.

3.  It is not about advantage/ disadvantage, but it depends on which data is being created.  As you would know, the fields that captures data in company code view and sales area view are totally different.
