why do you need that?
If I send an order with 20 items to a vendor, then the sales person who enters the sales order for our PO usually just enters the items in the same sequence. And so they will usually have the same sequence in their delivery note which is basis for our goods receipt.
If the items would be sorted by alphabet as default then the receiver would have a tough time to search for the right items every time.
