Let me rephrase..............
For manufactured materials, our UOM in the material master is KPC (Thousand Pieces). The base QUANTITY in our BOMs is 1.000 KPC.
Some of our components have a UOM of EA or PC.
We manufacture Material A in batches of 2.5 KPC.
When manufacturing Material A in batches of 2.5 KPC we consume 0.400 of component A for 1.000 KPC of Material A.
SAP does not permit the BOM quantity of component A to be less than 1.000.
Is there another UOM similar to EA or PC that permits less than 1.000, or do I have to set the base QUANTITY of my BOMs to equal batch quantity?
