Thanks for the reply. The data is coming out directly from a single flat table from SQL Server (the reason behind doing it, its not working well behind the start schema model for explorer). If i run the same query, which select * from table_name from the SQL Server Management Studio, it return the results in less than 10 mins, while SAP Lumira client installed on the same server was not able to retrieve the data. Is there any documentation for sql driver to set it up? Secondly, i created a universe through IDT and pulling the data through it in SAP Lumira.
So, if would be the right tool to do the self serve analysis based on only 7 Million records? I have several use cases where the customer contains millions of rows of data and the MSAS OLAP structure sitting on top it, runs fantastically well. Here we are talking about only 7 Millions of records.
Is there something that i am missing or i am completely at a different tangent? Please help and guide me.
