My settings are exactly similar as mentioned by you. (Please check below)
But situation is same. I also tried with checking the box" Update Basic dates", but this also doesn't make any difference.
My requirement is to get the change in basic dates at operation level under operation tab of Work order (and ultimately change in order basic start and basic finish dates) with a shift or date change of assignment into MRS planning board Resource Gantt . But here I'm unable to get these .
Can you check in your system, if you can get this required behaviours. if yes, check the settings , where I'm missing .
