Hi Neeraj,
Issue 1 workaround (99.9% not feasible, 0.1% hope though):
Apart from the only 2 options Automatic Vertical lettering that exist, there is another way you can get it be displayed at an angle between 30 and 45 degree, that is by re-sizing the Chart width, as shown below. If I increase/decrease the chart width, those labels with change to horizontal or vertical (with label beginning from bottom).
If your Users are not willing to live with that, you can increase or decrease the font size, such that the label is displayed at an angle (between 30 and 45 degree) as shown below, I've increased the Chart width, the font looks really big though (size 11) (no way that the Users will agree to it).
The final workaround which is feasible is, keep the Chart width as is (as you have in the image you posted) and then Format the Date Label as below:
2 major Cons of this workaround:
- The label is not center aligned with the bar (FYI: I already tried to add half the number of spaces in the beginning and the end to make the label look aligned to bar, by using Custom format ' 'M'/'d'/'yyyy' ', but it didn't work, the spaces at the end don't show up for some reason. Please try different ways, would be nice to get it working.)
- The number of weeks of data retrieved in the Chart can't increase once you've set it up. Or else, you'll have to put multiple Charts and use dynamic visibility depending on the number of weeks data displayed in the chart.
Hope that helps. I'll try to write a document about that.
Thanks,
Mahboob Mohammed
