Hi Chris, Thanks for the reply but now I am completely stuck.
I ran the installation in safe mode (minimal) and it seemed to be going ok, but at the end it started to loop – Extracting – Installing – Extracting – Installing etc (0%cpu). In the end I had to kill it with the task manager. Back to normal start-up and just in case the install had finished I tried to start PB. Just got the splash screen. So I tried to uninstall it from add or remove programs and got the message ”Setup has detected that this installation was NOT launched by the SAP Common Installer……. Setup will now terminate”; there is no uninstall option in the common installer. Attempting to install again I get the message “There is a previous release bla bla please uninstall first! So now I can't uninstall or Install it! How do I get out of this Catch 22 situation?
